Sterility of some interspecific hybrids ofDendranthem a and its controlmeasureswere studied. By studyingthe characters, pollen fertility and fecundity of self-cross of interspecific hybrid, itwas found that interspecific hybridof Dendranthem a possessed sterility, which characterized as some interspecific hybrids could not flower normally, thepollen fertility and the fecundity of self-crosswere low. The study on controlmeasures of sterility showed that colchicine treatment could overcome sterility of hybrid. The rate of fecundity of back cross of some hybrids exceeded 1. 0and the maximum was 6. 25. Embryo rescue after back cross of hybrid could solve the p roblem of low fecundity ef2fectively, and the rate of p lantlet formation varied from 3. 7% to 25. 0%.
The effects of physical and chemical factors on the property of the mulberry pigment were studied. The results show that the light and heat affect the stability of the mulberry pigment. The pigment is stable with lower pH, but the color changes at weak acid level which is close to neutrality. The pigment has less resistance capability against oxidizing or reducing agent and it is sensitive to chelating agent or sodium benzoate. Glucose and sucrose have little effects on the pigment, but salt, citric acid or vitamin C can enforce the color of the pigment. Metal ions Co2+, Cu2+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Zn2+, Mn2+, K+, A13+, Sn2+ can strengthen the color, but Fe2+, Fe3+, and Pb2+ weaken the stability of the pigment.
Established method by reverse phase HPLC and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-MS) analysis and hazelnut extract trace of taxol. Through the research, seven mass spectrum characteristics of taxol compounds were contested, and the taxanes database was initially established. It was found that the paciltaxel contents were 23.65 μg·mL-1 and 4.09 μg·mL-1 in leaves and stems respectively. The paciltaxel contents in different parts of hazelnut was slightly different, which were 0.61, 0.23 and 0.35 μg·mL-1 in hazel branch, leaf and leather. With these data it can quickly identify the known paclitaxel compounds in hazelnut extract, and can perform the unknown structure analysis to certain degrees. This analysis method is confirmed sensitive, reliable and fast.
